Perinet National Park

Perinet National Park is located in the eastern part of Madagascar, 150 km from the city of Morondava. It is home to the largest population of indri lemurs (as well as gray bamboo lemurs, brown lemurs and nocturnal woolly lemurs, staghorn lemurs, pygmy and red mouse lemurs) and many other equally interesting animals.

General information

Perinet Park is small, with an area of 8 km². There is a well-developed network of hiking trails, which help you quickly find the right place and do not let you get lost. For night walks, don’t forget to bring a flashlight.

In the neighboring Mantadia Park (37 km from Perinet, covering an area of about 1000 km²) you can see preserved relict rainforests, which are home to many rare birds and animals.
