Casemates du Bock

Casemates du Bock is a labyrinth of galleries and underground corridors totaling 23 km, carved by the Spanish under the ledge of the Bock cliff in 1644. There was once a castle on this rock around which Luxembourg was built, but it was destroyed in the 19th century by the Treaty of London and the casemates are all that remains of it.
