Lake Argazi (Argazi Reservoir)
Lake Argazi is located in the Chelyabinsk region, in the western part of Argayashsky district, a few kilometers from the town of Karabash. It is a body of water of artificial origin, created during the construction of the Argazi hydroelectric power plant on the Miass River in 1939-1946. Around Lake Argazi recreation areas are organized. Sanatoriums, camps, resorts and tourist bases provide travelers with comfortable accommodation, meals and equipped beaches. There are sports and children’s playgrounds, barbecues with gazebos, bathhouses, rental of boats, catamarans and mountain bikes.
