Beau Vallon Beach
Beau Vallon is a famous Seychelles 2 kilometer beach. It is located in the north of the island of Mahé, the largest in the archipelago. The name Beau Vallon comes from the French language and translates to “beautiful valley”. The beach received its sonorous name in the XVIII century, thanks to the commander and governor Bertrand Francois de Labourdonnais, who defeated the British at Mahe in 1724.
