Vityazevo is a popular resort suburb of Anapa, located on the Black Sea coast, 11 km from the city center. The village stretches along the sandy coast from Dzhemete towards the Blagoveshchenskaya village. Most of the residential development is located on the shore of the spacious Vityazevsky estuary. The beach area of the resort village is considered the “gold” of the Black Sea. The gentle coastal strip is covered with clean fine-grained sand and coquina, so swimming here – one pleasure!

Vityazevo is home to almost 8,000 people, among them many ethnic Greeks, so the village is often called “Little Athens”. Locals cater to tourists, grow grapes and work at the Vityaz winery. During the summer, the population grows several times due to the arrival of tourists.
.From 1837 to 1854 on the site of the modern village stood Cossack village Vityazevskaya, which received its name by the surname of Major Vityaz. When the need for a military outpost was no longer necessary, Pontic Greeks moved here. Interestingly, many residents of Vityazevo still speak the Pontic dialect of Greek.
.Vityazevo has a developed tourist infrastructure. Most of the hotels and mini-hotels built in it are new and have 3-5 floors. The width of the sandy spit is quite large – from 0.5 to 2 km. The beach on the sea side is from 0.3 to 0.6 km wide. There are also sandy beaches on the estuary side. In the middle of the spit is a chain of sand dunes, the height of which reaches 15 meters.
.Vityazevskaya Spit – a unique place. Only here in the Krasnodar Territory you can see the real dunes. On the spit do not grow trees, so vacationers on wild sandy beaches have to escape the sun under makeshift awnings.
