Уязы-Тау
Uyazy-Tau is a ski resort located in Bashkortostan, 3 km from the town of Oktyabrsky. In translation from the Bashkir language, its name means “Valley of Mountains”. Uazy-Tau skiing complex welcomed its first guests in December 2009, and since then athletes from all over Russia have been coming here, and competitions are regularly held. There are 6 slopes for beginners and experienced riders, with length from 780 to 1000 meters and height differences up to 145 meters. For children and beginners in Uzyaz-Tau there is a training track with the length of 450 meters and height difference of 50 meters. The complex is equipped with 1 chairlift and 1 rope tow elevator, 2 baby elevators, as well as 3 tubing tracks and a cross-country skiing track. You can replenish spent calories in a beautiful restaurant “On the Mountain” or in a cozy cafe “Uzyaz-Tau”, and to spend the night – in one of the wooden guest houses.
