Moscow Theater School of Modern Play
The School of Modern Play theater is a drama theater located in Moscow. The first play, “A Man Came to a Woman”, was staged by the creator and permanent head of the theater, Iosif Raichelgauz, in 1989. Over the 30-year period of its existence, the theater has presented to the public more than 80 new plays. A significant part of them was written by playwrights specially for the theater of the School of Modern Play. On November 3, 2013, a fire broke out in the theater’s building on Neglinnaya Street, causing it to lose the stage indefinitely.
