Rasos Cemetery

Rasos Cemetery, an old Bernardine cemetery located on a steep bank in the southeastern part of the district, is considered a mystical place in Užupis. Burials here began in 1810. During the uprising of 1863, rebels hid their weapons here. The gravestones of many university professors and scholars can be seen in the cemetery. Next to Bernardine Church and the cemetery is the Fluxus Bridge, named after a group of artists who tried to blow up the bridge to destroy the boundary between art and life!
