Prirazlomnaya oil platform
Prirazlomnaya is an ice-resistant oil platform designed to develop the Prirazlomnoye field in the Pechora Sea. It is currently the only platform producing oil on the Russian Arctic shelf. The Prirazlomnoye field was discovered in 1989. It is located on the shelf of the Pechora Sea, 55 kilometers from the settlement of Varandey and 320 kilometers from the city of Naryan-Mar. The sea depth in the area of the field reaches 19-20 meters. Oil reserves of the Prirazlomnoye field exceed 70 million tons, which makes it possible to achieve an annual production level of about 5.5 million tons. The license for the Prirazlomnoye field belongs to Gazprom Neft Shelf LLC.
