Museum of Sin in Tambov
Museum of Sin in Tambov is a place where the dead teach the living. The museum can be called the Tambov analog of the famous Kunstkamera. It exhibits a collection of medical pathologies collected by Yuri Kirillovich Shchukin, a pathologist of the Second City Hospital named after Archbishop Luke. Visitors to the museum can see more than 700 containers of human limbs, organs and embryos. The name of the museum is not accidental: for more than 35 years of work in the morgue for his peculiar collection Shchukin selected cadaveric remains that most vividly illustrate the consequences of harmful human vices – drunkenness, drug addiction, smoking, adultery.
