Malá Strana neighborhood

Malá Strana is a unique monument of Baroque architecture, the oldest historical district of Prague. Malá Strana is located in the heart of Prague, between the Vltava River and two hills decorated with picturesque terraces. This place preserves many evidences of how Prague and its royal dynasties developed. The cobbled streets of the quarter remember Mozart, who often visited here.

.

Despite the compactness of the neighborhood, Malá Strana is home to numerous churches, villas, and baroque palaces. Malá Strana is a place of pilgrimage for photographers – where else but here you can capture magnificent views of the Prague capital with its characteristic red tile roofs and medieval buildings.
