Lake Senezh (Senezhskoe Lake)
Lake Senezh is the largest lake in the Moscow region, located 49 km north of the Moscow Ring Road. The picturesque body of water is located within the Klinsko-Dmitrovskaya ridge and is very popular with fishermen and vacationers.

Senezh is considered a paradise for lovers of fishing. At any time of the year here you can meet fishermen who catch bream, roach, pike, carp, perch, tench, ruff, silver and golden crucian carp, eel, bullheads and pikeperch. From Moscow to Lake Senezh can be reached by car. First you need to drive along the Leningradskoye highway (highway E105) to Solnechnogorsk, and in the city itself turn right, to Timonovo.

Those who get there on their own, by suburban electric train come to the station “Podsolnechnaya”. From the Leningradsky railway station in the capital to “Podsolnechnaya” there are direct trains. Electric trains from Moscow to Tver, Klin and Konakovo GRES also stop here. Travel time is 1.10-1.15. In Solnechnogorsk it is necessary to change to a bus or marshrutka № 25 going to Timonovo, and go to the stops “House of the Artist” or “House of the Fisherman.”
