Lake Hévíz
Lake Hévíz, born and heated by a volcano, is a true gift of nature that gives people hope for healing. Located in the west of Hungary, near the town of the same name, the lake is the only bathable natural body of biologically active water in the world.
Hévíz has an area of about 48,000 m² and a depth of 38 meters.

Children under 14 years of age are not allowed to swim in Hévíz to avoid negative effects on the hormonal system. But for young guests, the resort offers children’s pools, playrooms, and attractions.

Entrance to the lake is by ticket. If visiting the reservoir is not included in the cost of your stay at the hotel, then for a three-hour visit to the lake you will pay 10€, for a day stay – 15€. It is more profitable to buy a weekly pass.

.How to get there
Fly by plane to Budapest, from where it is 190 km to Heviz. From Balaton airport to the resort the distance is much less – 15 km. Buses run from both airports to the destination. If you are traveling by train, get off at Keszthely station, where public transport will take you to the lake.
