If you want to get to know Hungary more, you can book a tour of the nearby colorful towns, as well as Budapest and Herend, home to a famous porcelain factory. In Balatonederich, tourists will be curious to visit the Museum of Africa. In the town of Sigleget, spa guests are often spoiled with original folklore performances. On Mount Kovacs in the vicinity of Hévíz is the famous Human Rights Park with a snow-white Buddhist temple.

.Healthy people should not stay in the lake for more than an hour. The maximum time of stay in the reservoir for spa guests with a particular disease – no more than half an hour. To get the best healing effect from bathing should be taken in the water vertical position, in this you will help a special inflatable circle, which can be bought in stores on the shore.

Children under 14 years of age are not allowed to swim in Hévíz to avoid negative effects on the hormonal system. But for young guests, the resort offers children’s pools, playrooms, and attractions.

Entrance to the lake is by ticket. If visiting the reservoir is not included in the cost of your stay at the hotel, then for a three-hour visit to the lake you will pay 10€, for a day stay – 15€. It is more profitable to buy a weekly pass.
.Before swimming in Hévíz, take off your silver jewelry – otherwise it will tarnish under the influence of the lake water.
.In addition to the spa card, spa guests should have with them the results of an MRI scan, recommendations of an orthopedist and neurosurgeon, and X-rays of the spine.
.How to get there
Fly by plane to Budapest, from where it is 190 km to Heviz. From Balaton airport to the resort the distance is much less – 15 km. Buses run from both airports to the destination. If you are traveling by train, get off at Keszthely station, where public transport will take you to the lake.
