Dzhubga
Dzhubga is a resort village in the Tuapse District of the Krasnodar Territory, located in a forested area on the coast of Dzhubga Bay, 80 km from Gelendzhik. The small settlement, which has a permanent population of about 5500 people, is considered one of the most crowded resorts in Tuapse, so, unlike most other Black Sea villages, the local beaches are not empty even in September. Because of its convenient location and proximity to the main highway of the southern direction of M-4 “Don” rest in Dzhubga prefer, first of all, residents of Krasnodar, as well as tourists from adjacent areas, coming here by car.

‘ Housing in DzhubgaThe rental housing market in Dzhubga is represented mainly by guest houses, resorts and campgrounds. The range of prices is significant, which, accordingly, is reflected in the quality of service and living conditions.
Information for tourists: housing in Dzhubga can be booked in advance, as at the entrance to the village resorts are met by local invigilators, offering a quick and inexpensive solution to the “apartment issue”. If you know how to haggle, do not miss your chance to get a decent room at a bargain price.
The optimal option for romantics and those who are tight on funds – local autocamping, the bulk of which is located on the stretch between Dzhubga and Lermontov. On average, an overnight stay in one of these roadside camps costs around 500 rubles per car (the number of people is usually not taken into account). For this amount the tourist gets not only a place for a tent and a guarded parking lot, but also a minimum set of amenities: toilet, shower and trash cans.

The first option is likely to be characterized by spartan interior and remoteness from the beach, and the second on the level of service will be close to a three-star hotel and can boast a convenient location relative to the sea. In Dzhubga there are enough intermediate options, the prices in which are within the limits of 1000-1500 rubles / day (“Emerald”, “Zarina”, “Comfort”, “Oleniy Ruchey”).
.If there is no need to save money, you can check into one of the local hotels (Grand Paradise, “Hestia”) to fully enjoy the benefits of civilization in the form of free Internet, air conditioning, separate shower room and daily cleaning.
.FYI: Dzhubga is quite a noisy village: the proximity of the highway and the traditional loud music from beach cafes have an impact, so if you are annoyed by harsh sounds, try to find accommodation, as far away from the seafront and the highway as possible.

The central beach of Dzhubga sandy-pebble and almost always crowded, and the maximum “concentration” of tourists is observed on the sandy part of the coast. Often the search for a free place on this piece of land turns into a fun quest, because rented in the nearest rental shop sunbed does not guarantee that it will be where to put. Due to the large influx of vacationers village utilities do not have time to monitor the cleanliness of the coastal zone, so that such a phenomenon as household garbage floating on the surface of the sea, in Dzhubga periodically takes place.

For vacationers, unencumbered by complexes and conventions, there is a wild nudist beach (landmark – the foot of Mount Ezhik). The approach to the sea here is stony and not quite comfortable, but the people in this place is noticeably less.

As for the entertainment offered in Dzhubga, they can be called typical for all local resorts in the Krasnodar region. As a rule, it is inflatable slides, trips on bananas and water scooters, as well as parasailing. Those who are bored with the monotony of local attractions, you can take a ticket for a boat running along the coast and ride to Inal Bay. Usually the excursion includes a visit to the blue clay deposit, where anyone can try out its healing properties.

Excursion programs in Dzhubga are mostly field trips. Nature lovers should visit the Guam Gorge, where relic boxwood and yews grow, or go on a hike to the Polkovnichy waterfalls upstream Dzhubga. Among the most popular routes are trips to Melnichnaya Gap and excursion to 33 waterfalls. For fans of underwater photography organized trips to the rock Kiseleva: it was here that Leonid Gaidai filmed one of the funniest episodes of the comedy “Diamond Hand” – fishing on the Black Stones. Shops and markets
The main characteristic of stores in Dzhubga can be called unreasonably inflated prices, so it is better to stock up on food and necessities in chain supermarkets, for example, in “Magnit”. For souvenirs you will have to go to the local market: the assortment of traditional magnets, key chains and shell crafts in local stalls is truly outstanding. Here you can also buy beach equipment, chacha, bottled homemade wine, spices and honey. The latter is usually effectively decorated with nuts and dried fruits, but, alas, not always natural. The same resort trinkets, however, with a small markup will be found in souvenir shops on the village embankment.

There is no train station in Dzhubga, so you will have to get here either by bus or by your own car. You can get here by bus without transfers from Krasnodar, Tuapse, Rostov, Sochi, Adler, Sukhum, Yeisk, Goryachiy Klyuch. From Krasnodar public transport to the resort leaves from the Central bus station (located opposite the railway station). Travel time is about 2-2.5 hours.
.Those who go to Dzhubga in their own car, you need to leave on the highway M-4 “Don” and, navigating by the signs, move south. However, it should be taken into account that in the season traffic on the highway can be difficult due to the large number of vehicles going in the direction of the Black Sea resorts.
