The Castle of Guile and Love in Kislovodsk
The Castle of Insidiousness and Love is a rock formation on one of the spurs of the Rocky Mountain Range, located in the valley of the river Alikonovka, on the western outskirts of the city of Kislovodsk. At the foot of the Castle of Treachery and Love, a hotel and restaurant complex of the same name is open, its address is 119 Pryamaya Street.
.The rock really resembles a fortress with crenellated walls. It rises above the left side of the river valley by 80 meters and has a height of 950 meters above sea level. The castle of treachery and love is composed of dolomitized limestone and in form is a cuesta – an elongated ridge with asymmetrical slopes.

The Castle of Treachery and Love is often visited by residents of Kislovodsk and tourists from Essentuki, Zheleznovodsk and Pyatigorsk. In the valley under the cliff stands a picturesque stone building with a tall round tower. This is a hotel stylized as a medieval castle, which appeared here in 1939.

In the Soviet years, the stylized “Castle of Treachery and Love” housed a cafe. Now the territory on both banks of the Alikonovka is built up and fenced. There is a hotel, a restaurant “Castle”, a hunting cafe “Saklya” and a parking lot. Most visitors praise the local cuisine, but note that restaurant service is not cheap. Parking is allowed only for guests.
.The Castle of Treachery and Love Hotel is a three-star hotel. It has a spacious lobby with a fireplace and 12 rooms – standard doubles, junior suites and suites. There is a buffet with continental breakfast for guests.
.How to get there
Directly to the Castle of Treachery and Love leads out an asphalted road – Stravaya Street. By cab from the center of Kislovodsk to the hotel and restaurant complex can be reached in 15 minutes (about 4 km).

If you use public transportation, then in the city you need to take the bus number 5, going to Zelenogorsky, get on it to the entrance to the village and then walk to the Castle of Treachery and Love (1.7 km). On the way to the rock, near the road, there is a narzan spring with a faint smell of hydrogen sulfide.
