Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple
Uluwatu is one of Bali’s six most important temples, which are considered spiritual pillars of local culture. The Hindu shrine was founded back in the 11th century by a monk named Mpu Kuturana. According to another version, the founder of Uluwatu was St. Dwijendra, who arrived on the island a thousand years ago.
