Talezh village
Talezh is a village in Chekhov District, Moscow Region. It stands on the Smorodinka River, a tributary of the Lopasna, on the slopes of a ravine, 16 km from Chekhov and 56 km from the Moscow Ring Road. Here, in the suburb of the David’s Desert, there is a church in the name of St. David of Serpukhov, a bell tower, a spring with holy water, male and female font. Believing people believe that the water from the Talezhsky spring has healing properties and is especially effective in fighting diseases of the eyes and GI tract.
