Swan Lake

Swan Lake is a popular attraction in the Kaliningrad region. The lake is located in a bay of the Curonian Bay, which is enclosed by a sand spit. Thanks to natural springs, the water in the reservoir is fresh. The entrance to the trail “Swan Lake” is located at the 46th kilometer of the Curonian Spit, just 2 km from the Russian-Lithuanian border. Thus, it is the northernmost tourist route out of 5 located on the Russian part of the Spit. In summer, strawberries grow in the vicinity of the lake, and white swans can be seen on the water surface. The most faithful birds build nests here and hatch their offspring.
