St. Sebastian’s Cathedral is a cathedral in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The cathedral is characterized by its unusual shape, this building was built in the modernist style designed by architect Edgar Fonseca between 1964 and 1979. The cathedral is dedicated to Saint Sebastian, the patron saint of the city and is the cathedra of the Archdiocese of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro.
