Safari Park in Gelendzhik
Safari Park is the first animal rehabilitation center on the entire Black Sea coast. It is located in Gelendzhik – a picturesque resort of the Krasnodar region of federal importance. Here everyone who wishes, without leaving the city limits, can look at the life of the “wild world” in the closest possible to natural conditions.

Almost all the animals living in the Safari Park have a hard and difficult fate. Some animals are brought by photographers to get rid of “waste material”, others are brought by hunters, mostly cubs left without mothers. Animals are also given to circus workers, when the trainer can not find a common language with the ward or the four-legged artist “retires.”

Highlights
Safari Park has been in operation since 2004. Due to its scale and unique location, the park, which is located in the shade of a pine forest on the slopes of the Markotkhsky ridge, is rightfully considered one of the most popular and famous attractions of Gelendzhik. The area of the Safari Park is about 160 hectares. The entire territory is divided into two zones – the Upper and Lower Park.
In the Lower Park are located aviaries with animals (zoo), the Maritime Museum, the Bear Cave. The Upper Park is filled with the sounds of feathered inhabitants and the flavors of the vegetation of the mountainous section of deciduous forest. It is located directly on the top of the Markotkhsky ridge. You can get here with the help of a chairlift. In the Upper Park you can visit such interesting locations as the Jurassic Park, terrarium, alley of fairy tales, dolmen, observation deck.
