Museum of Terror (House of Terror)

Museum of Terror in Budapest has been in operation since 2002. The building is very easy to recognize, thanks to the canopy that casts the inscription “TERROR” on the building’s facade in sunny weather. Until the end of the last century, the building was used for its intended purpose, people worked there, but at the beginning of the new century, and the millennium, the building was given to the Foundation for the Study of History, and this foundation turned the building into a museum.
