Mount Nebo

Mount Nebo is the site of the supposed death of the prophet Moses and the place from which God showed him the Promised Land, as well as the site of many biblical canonical texts.

.

General Information

From Mount Nebo you can see the entire Jordan Valley and even distinguish the glimmer of the Dead Sea to the west. On a clear day you will see the palm trees of Jericho and even Jerusalem. From here, from the top of the mountain, the Lord showed Moses the Promised Land before his death; here grace and peace are in the air. Here stands a church erected in memory of Moses, adorned with mosaics, especially the left side of it.
