London Bridge
London Bridge (not to be confused with Tower Bridge) is a bridge in London linking the central City and Southwark districts, separated by the River Thames. Over the course of London’s history, several bridges of the same name have been replaced at the site: a series of wooden bridges dating back to Roman times, a stone bridge built in the 12th century that stood for over 600 years, and another stone arch bridge from the 19th century. The modern bridge was built in 1973.
