Goethe-Haus und Goethe-Museum
The Goethe House Museum is the place where the outstanding German poet, thinker and naturalist was born, spent his childhood and youth. The house was completely destroyed during the war. The interior furnishings (valuable paintings, furniture and books) are authentic: they were thoughtfully removed, hidden and fortunately escaped destruction.
