Krasnodar Fountain
Krasnodar Fountain is a spectacular musical water body on Teatralnaya Square. Color-music fountain was opened in September 2001, becoming not only a bright city landmark, but also the embodiment of a non-standard engineering project. Krasnodar fountain does not have a large bowl at the base – its water jets come from under the ground. It boasts impressive dimensions of 35 by 35 meters. The installation has 377 nozzles, of which 208 are controllable, and 640 lights. The height of the jet is 25 meters; the fountain is served by 57 pumps. Although it does not have a specific name, it is called the most “singing”. The fountain brings special joy to citizens and tourists on hot summer days, thanks to the play of jets of different shapes, sparkling splashes in the sun, a fairy of colors and music.
