Zyuratkul National Park
Zyuratkul is a national park located in the southern part of Satka district of Chelyabinsk region, 30 km south of Satka, 200 km west of Chelyabinsk.

The current area of the park began to be developed a very long time ago – as far back as the late Paleolithic period, approximately 17,000 years ago. The amazing natural power and beauty of these places attracted people at all times, especially in the XX century, when completely new opportunities for tourism and travel opened up. You bet, because there are more than 20 natural and archaeological monuments on a relatively small territory. With the purpose of their protection on the initiative of the administration of Satkinsky district on November 22, 1993 and was organized by the national park “Zyuratkul”.

The flora of the national park includes about 600 species of higher vascular plants. Many of them are endemic species. These are Lagotis uralensis (Lagotis uralensis), Cicerbita uralensis (Cicerbita uralensis), Igoschina’s crosswort (Senecio Igoschinae), Krylov’s hawkweed (Hieracium krylovii), Krylov’s jasper (Cerastium krylovii), Ural kachim (Gyp-sophila uralensis) and others. The national park was formed at the junction of two natural zones – taiga and forest-steppe.
.‘ On the Zyuratkul Ridge, consisting of white quartzites, you can see giant rocky remainsPractically everywhere in the park there are common strawberry (Aegopodium podagraria), spiny crowberry (Actaea spicata), double-leaved mayberry (Maianthemum bifolium), Veronica chamaedrys, medicinal bloodroot (Sanguisorba officinalis). In addition, there are such rare species as horsetail (Equisetum sylvaticum), meadow-grass (Deschampsia caespitosa), meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria), blueberry (Vaccinium uliginosum), Asian forget-me-not (Myosotis asiat-ica), viviparous mountain (Polygonum viviparum) and alpine aster (Aster alpinus).

Mode of the park
Tourist routes of varying complexity have been developed on the territory of the park. These are excursions to the shores of Lake Zyuratkul, and the ecological trail “Little Bear”, which is 5 kilometers long, and a complex multi-day hike to the Nurgush Ridge – the highest in the Chelyabinsk region. The park has many forest roads suitable for mountain biking.

By airplane you can fly to Chelyabinsk, Ufa or Yekaterinburg, and from there take a shuttle bus to the town of Satka. By train it is necessary to follow to the station Berdyaush or Suleya, and then get to the park by cab. By personal transport you need to move along the highway Moscow – Vladivostok, navigating on the map. All travel schemes are available on the national park’s website.

On the territory of the park there are all possibilities for overnight accommodation and for rest for a longer period. There is a visitor center, guest houses on Lake Zyuratkul and other sites. There are guest houses: “Terem”, “Sibirsky”, “Lesnoy”, “Lugovoy”, “Rybatsky”.
