Zakharovo Estate
Zakharovo Estate is a former noble estate, famous for being the place where Alexander Pushkin spent his early childhood. The estate is located in Odintsovsky District of Moscow Region, and together with Bolshiye Vyazemi it is part of the Pushkin State Historical and Literary Museum-Reserve. In the center of the architectural ensemble is the manor house, recreated in 1999 for the 200th anniversary of the poet’s birth. The building is as close as possible to the house of Maria Alekseevna Hannibal, Alexander Sergeevich’s grandmother, who owned the estate since 1804. We recommend taking a walk around Zakharov’s neighborhood and admiring the old park with alleys and a pond. The linden and birch trees growing here were witnesses of the future poet’s childhood games. Entrance to the Museum-Reserve is paid: 250 r. for adults, 170 r. for privileged categories of citizens. Every year on February 10, February 10, the day of the memory of Alexander Pushkin, the museum holds an open day, when everyone can visit it for free.
