Dendrological Park “Southern Cultures”
Yuzhnye Kultury Park is located in the Adler district of Sochi, near the left bank of the Mzymta River. The park was founded by General D. V. Drachevsky on the lands of the estate Random, in 1910-1911. The talented landscape architect A. Regel was in charge of the project. On the territory of the park “Southern Cultures” one can see deciduous, coniferous and tropical trees. Here everyone has an opportunity to stroll through a bamboo grove, walk along the alleys of tulip trees or take a break under the shade of Himalayan cedars. A large rose garden is located in a separate area. Southern Cultures Park has two well-maintained ponds, one of which is equipped with a bridge.
