Moscow Victory Park
Victory Park in St. Petersburg is a recreation area in the Moscow district of the city. The park was first laid out in 1939-1941 in accordance with the General Development Plan of Leningrad, as a Park of Culture and Recreation. In 1945 it was re-laid under its modern name, in honor of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The main entrance to the Moscow Victory Park is decorated with propylaea, on which 6 bas-reliefs made of bronze are reinforced. Right at the entrance there is a square with a fountain in the center, from which begins the Alley of Twice Heroes, which divides the territory into a landscape part and a regular park. On it on both sides are monuments-busts to the Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of Socialist Labor.
