Highlights

At first, the Valley of Fire was a desert. Over time, the sand dunes became durable sandstone, and thanks to weathering processes, they turned into tall “beehives”, smooth “waves”, graceful arches, picturesque valleys with “layered” slopes and various figures that received their names. The brightly colored slopes look especially beautiful in the early morning or at sunset.
