Flame Towers are the tallest buildings in Azerbaijan, located in Baku. The towers resemble flames.

General information

The Flame Towers are three tall buildings that look like a sail, something like “tongues” of flame. These tongues of fire are 190, 160, and 140 meters tall respectively. That is, each one is twenty to thirty meters higher than the previous one.

It is also worth noting that these three buildings are the tallest buildings in Azerbaijan.

The view of the Flame Towers is especially beautiful at night, when the earth is illuminated only by the light of the moon and the sky is filled with stars. In the darkness, the three buildings become ostensibly alive! The play of colors and light is mesmerizing and makes you forget all your troubles. At times, during the light show, it really seems that the three buildings are real tongues of flame.

Construction of Flame Towers in Baku

The construction of the buildings in Baku began back in 2007. Earlier, the existing Flame Towers were replaced by the Moscow Hotel.

In 2012, the tallest buildings of Baku and the whole of Azerbaijan appeared before the residents and tourists in all their glory. The project, developed by the American bureau NOC, was not just successful. It was one of the most successful projects in history. And the idea did not come by chance – the history of Azerbaijan helped here.

The first building houses offices, the second became a residential building, and the third became a five-star Fairmont Baku hotel with three hundred and forty-seven rooms.
