Sarmyshsai Gorge
Sarmyshsai Gorge is a natural and archeological monument in Uzbekistan, famous for petroglyphs, UFO legends and rare species of flora and fauna. Sarmysh-Sai is located on the southern slope of the Karatau spur, 45 kilometers northeast of the city of Navoi. The Sarmysh-Sai tract is the largest monument of petroglyphs located on the territory of Uzbekistan. The collection of petroglyphs consists of more than 10 thousand drawings forming whole compositions. Since the late 80s of the last century, local residents began to report anomalous phenomena and unidentified flying objects circling over Sarmysh-Sai.
