Queluz Palace (National Palace)
The National Palace of Quelos (Wed-Fri 9.30-17.00, entrance fee) is located just 14 km west of Lisbon.
.The luxurious pink summer palace was commissioned by King Pedro III in the second half of the 18th century. It was the official working residence of the royal family. The pride of Quelouch is the palace gardens with geometrically correct trimmed shrubs, picturesque fountains and many statues.
Tourists can walk through all the rooms and peek into the luxurious halls of Kelush Palace. All the rooms of the Keluş Palace are richly decorated and are literally hung with paintings and filled with statues.
