Big Novosibirsk Planetarium

The Large Novosibirsk Planetarium is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the city. In addition to demonstrations of the starry sky and cosmic spectacles, in the hall under the dome you can watch interesting popular science films, theatrical performances, slide shows. On the territory of the planetarium there is a thematic landscape park.

‘ Novosibirsk has another planetarium, belonging to the Siberian University of Geosystems and Technologies (10 Plakhotnogo St.). You can continue your acquaintance with the world of science at the interactive park Galileo, which is located at 16-A Dobrolyubova Street (opposite the River Station). Novosibirsk tour bureaus offer excursions with visits to all three locations.

How to get there

The Big Novosibirsk Planetarium is located on Klyuch-Kamyshenskoye Plateau Street, 1/1, on the eastern outskirts of the city. From the metro station “Rechnoi Vokzal” directly to it runs shuttle bus number 11. From the railway station, located in the center of Novosibirsk, you can get to the planetarium by buses № 45 or 75. Get off at the stop “Klyuch-Kamyshenskoye Plateau” in the residential microdistrict, and from there – walk 15 minutes in a southerly direction.
