Phuket Island
Phuket Island, endowed by nature with almost unearthly beauty, is located in the south of the Kingdom of Thailand, off the west coast of the Malay Peninsula. It is the largest island of the country and together with 32 other surrounding miniature islets forms one of the provinces of Thailand. From north to south it stretches for almost fifty kilometers, and its width is only 21 km. Phuket is separated from the mainland of the kingdom by the Pak Pra Strait, across which there are three bridges.
