Petrovskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg runs along the right bank of the Neva River on Petrogradsky Island, from Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt and Troitskaya Square to Petrogradskaya Embankment. In 1703, the first residential building in the city was built here – a palace intended for Peter the Great.
