Pehra-Yakovlevskoye Estate
Pehra-Yakovlevskoye is an estate located in Balashikha near Moscow, on the left bank of the Pekhorka River. The estate was owned by the Golitsyn dynasty since 1591. Thanks to the famous princely family, the small village turned into an outstanding architectural and park complex of its time. Architects K. I. Blank, F. P. Kazne, A. A. Menelas took part in the creation of the Pehra-Yakovlevsky ensemble. The estate complex included a mansion with two wings, a church, a theater and a greenhouse. Today Pehra-Yakovlevskoe is in need of restoration, only the Transfiguration Church, which is functioning, has been preserved in proper condition.
