Patriot Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation, which cost the state more than 20 billion rubles, is located in Odintsovo district of Moscow region, near the settlement of Kubinka. .Park “Patriot” is a large-scale complex with a huge number of well-thought-out military-patriotic expositions, locations, exhibition centers and museum grounds. Almost immediately after its opening, this military-patriotic park became a favorite place of rest for Russians, residents of neighboring countries, and tourists from distant exotic countries. Representatives of all generations without exception spend their time here in an interesting and useful way: kids, teenagers, young people, middle-aged people and elderly people. Every year the park is visited by hundreds of thousands of guests of different ages.

The history of the Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation “Patriot” begins on October 30, 2014. It was on this day that the Minister of Defense Sergei Kuzugetovich Shoigu signed the corresponding order. He also took part in the ceremony of laying the first stone together with the Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov. Since 1938, before the creation of the complex, a tank range and an airbase operated on the territory of the park, and next to it was the Alabino military training ground, where the famous tank biathlon takes place nowadays.

In June 2015, the Congress and Exhibition Center of the Russian Armed Forces was inaugurated in Patriot Park. It immediately hosted the first event – the international technical forum “Army-2015”. Vladimir Putin, who was present at the meeting, noted that this location will be an excellent platform for demonstrating the latest weapons and equipment of Russia. Since 2015, the Congress and Exhibition Center has been hosting meetings, exhibitions, briefings, panels, forums and other major events under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
.In recent years, several complex facilities have been built. The development and improvement of the military-patriotic complex continues to this day, and its capabilities are regularly expanded: new services, facilities, expositions and halls are added. .Museum Complex – Site #1
More than 260 examples of armored, aviation, special and armored vehicles of Soviet times and modern Russian production are presented in the open areas of the Museum Complex. In the pavilions there are several exhibitions and expositions, one of which is a separate one.
.The exposition “Space Forces: through thorns to the stars” familiarizes visitors with a large collection of spacecraft for various purposes: lunar exploration, navigation, telecommunications and communications, remote sensing of the Earth and high-precision geodetic measurements. At the historical expositions you can not only look at unique samples of artillery, armored vehicles, aviation and learn a lot of useful information about the Great Patriotic War and our hard victory in it, but also with the help of special sports simulators to feel like a real pilot, ship captain or tanker.
.Exhibits, archival materials and documentaries in the “Atoms in the Service of the Motherland” pavilion motivate visitors to develop an interest in nuclear physics in particular and nuclear power in general. They are devoted to the history of nuclear physics, scientific achievements in this field, nuclear weapons, and the modern nuclear industry. Visitors of different ages can get acquainted with the internal structure of a tank, reincarnate into a ship or tank driver with the help of special military simulators and shoot in the shooting gallery at the Game Center. There are 6 models of different military equipment (one of them is a T-62 tank in section) and 10 training simulators. It is noteworthy that real military men are trained on such simulators!

Partisan Village, which was opened in January 2016, is an original military-historical complex that will not leave any guest of Patriot Park indifferent. It includes 17 objects, in each of which you can make memorable photos with inventory. This complex is a collective image of all partisan villages that existed during the Great Patriotic War. All objects are made in the form of dugouts to ensure a more comfortable acquaintance with them. The utensils and decoration of these objects are authentically recreated from the memories of participants of those events, archival materials and photographs.

Thematic excursion “People’s Avengers” will familiarize younger students with the exploits of legendary partisans, brave children in the detachments and those, sometimes unbearable conditions in which they had to live. Middle and high school students who want to learn more about the role of young people in the partisan movement should visit the thematic exhibition “Strong in Spirit”, and students and trainees of military schools – the exhibition “The Nationwide Struggle behind enemy lines”. The youngest visitors will definitely like the Farmyard, where rabbits, sheep, deer, chickens, donkeys, ostriches and goats live.

The Museum and Temple Complex of the Russian Armed Forces is a spiritual symbol of the country and marks the victory of life over death. The Church of the Resurrection of Christ, the height of which together with the cross is equal to 95 m, was erected in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in World War II and the feats of arms of the brave Russian people in all the wars that fell to the share of Russia. The construction of the building ended on May 9, 2020. The temple is made in monumental Russian style, which provides for a harmonious combination of unique innovations and modern architectural approaches with centuries-old traditions.

The museum’s exposition includes 32 galleries and 32 halls. They contain more than 8,000 exhibits. In addition, a detailed history of each day of WWII is presented. Many of the halls are immersive. The length of the museum is 1418 steps. And it is not accidental, because that is how many days the Great Patriotic War lasted.
.‘ The main temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian FederationIn the eastern part of the complex there is a nine-meter monument “To the Mothers of Winners”. The sculptural composition, created by Dasha Namdakova, is a grieving figure of a mother harboring an eternally burning candle, which symbolizes love and memory.
The eastern apse of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ is decorated with an icon of the same name – a folding icon. The fold is decorated with semi-precious stones, enamels and gilding. The folding icon is closed on weekdays, it opens on Saturday at 17:00.
.On the territory of the Museum and Temple Complex there is an exposition in the form of historical reconstructions “Victory Field”. It works in the mode of free visit. It presents military equipment of the Great Patriotic War, recreated dugouts, trenches and ruins of buildings.

Armi Platform
“Armi Platform” is located near the Partisan Village. Here you can relax, take seats at tables in the dining car or under the canopy of the platform in the fresh air, next to the historic railroad train. Everyone can order delicious dishes from the real menu of the dining car. If you want to continue your acquaintance with the Patriot Park the next day, you can stay overnight in a passenger car – “SV” or “Coupe”.
.The “SV” car is a standard with two beds, two sets of bed linens, two mirrors, a TV, a table, a set of hand towels and a hygiene kit. The “SV” car is additionally equipped with a box for storing valuables and a shower room. The “Coupe” car is a standard with four sleeping places, four sets of bed linen, a table, a TV set, a hygiene kit and towels. Patriot Park is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The ticket office opens at 10:00 a.m. and ceases operations one hour before the park closes. Monday is a day off.

The military-patriotic park of culture and recreation of the RF Armed Forces “Patriot” is located at the address: Moscow region, Odintsovsky district, 55th km of highway M-1 (Minsk highway).
.You can get to the park in several ways. The easiest way is to do it by cab, own or rented vehicle. The road from the center of Moscow to the destination will take about 90-110 minutes. By private vehicle you can also move around the territory of the Patriot Park, but at a limited speed – no more than 20 km per hour.
.Each facility has its own parking lots. Parking can be paid for at the ticket offices at any facility of the complex or at parking meters. The first 10 minutes of parking is free of charge. Drivers of cars, vans and motorcycles will have to pay 250 rubles per day for parking, and drivers of trucks and buses – 500 rubles per day. A fine of 500 rubles is provided for the loss of a parking ticket. Parking is free for people with disabilities, the 50% benefit is provided to large families of the Russian Federation.
.To get to the park “Patriot” can also be done by public transportation. From Belorussky railway station by train to the station “Golitsyno” or “Kubinka-1”, and then change to bus number 48P, which will take you directly to the park. From the metro station “Tushino” you can take bus #301 to the stop “Kubinka” or “Golitsyno”, and then change to a shuttle bus that goes to the park “Patriot”.
