Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw

Palace of Culture and Science – a huge, tall building, whose Stalinist past has been almost forgotten, has become one of the symbols of Warsaw. At night it takes on a particularly ominous appearance, which does not prevent it from being an excellent landmark. The Palace of Culture and Science was built in the early 1950s as a gift to the Polish people from the Soviet Union. It still remains one of the tallest buildings in Europe (over 230 meters). The clock was built in later, in the post-communist period.

There is an observation deck on the 30th floor (adult/discounted ticket 20/15zt) which offers a stunning panorama, but it can be windy and cold.
