Oceanarium in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg Oceanarium is located in the building of the Planet Neptune shopping and entertainment complex. Its territory is divided into seven climatic zones representing water bodies of northwest Russia, the Amazon basin, the tidal zone, the coral reef zone and the main marine aquarium with a 35-meter transparent tunnel running through it. The oceanarium contains more than 100 species of fish, including about 20 sharks. In the evening, around 19.00, the shark herring feeding show starts. A diver in special ringed gloves scratches their bellies, cradles them in his arms and asks them to swim through a hoop.
