Obraztsov Puppet Theater
Obraztsov Puppet Theater is the world’s only Academy of the Art of Playing Puppets and trains professional actors, directors, and puppet artists. The unique theater boasts 2 buildings on the Moscow Garden Ring, 3 stages, the most complete and the only library in Russia, where all known literature about puppets is collected, the world’s largest Museum of theatrical puppets of all known systems from antiquity to the present day. The repertoire of the S. V. Obraztsov Puppet Theater includes legendary productions of “By Pike’s Will”, “Aladdin’s Magic Lamp”, “The Deer King”, “Extraordinary Concert”, “The Divine Comedy”, “Don Juan”. In the playbill of the theater every year also appear and new productions, delighting young and adult viewers.
