Newgrange

Newgrange is one of the oldest structures in the world, shrouded in a halo of mystery. This iconic megalithic structure is located 40.2 kilometers north of Dublin, Ireland. Newgrange is a mound-shaped tomb and was used as a center for rites and ceremonies. Research has determined that the complex was built between 3100 and 2900 B.C. This is more than 500 years older than the Pyramids of Egypt and 1000 years older than Stonehenge.
