Museum of History and Reconstruction of Moscow

Museum of History and Reconstruction of Moscow belongs to the oldest cultural institutions of the capital. It was established in 1896 on the initiative of the City Duma as the Museum of Moscow City Economy. Today the Museum of Moscow is the main site of the museum association of the same name, which includes 5 other museums: the Museum of Moscow Archaeology, the Old English Yard, the Museum of Lefortovo History, the Vlakhernskoye-Kuzminki Estate, and the Gilyarovsky Center.
