Monument to Mytishchi Water Supply
Monument to the water pipeline in Mytishchi was opened on September 3, 2004, at the intersection of Yubileynaya and Mira Streets. The occasion was the 200th anniversary of the Mytishchi-Moscow centralized water pipeline. The author of the project was architect P. V. Glushenkov. The monument to the water pipeline attracts attention from afar. The sculpture represents three stopcocks on poles, painted on the principle of traffic lights – in red, yellow and green colors. The composition causes ambiguous impressions, but leaves no one indifferent.
