Mockup of the ship Mercury
The mockup of the ship “Mercury” stands on a concrete pedestal in the middle of the Voronezh Reservoir. “Mercury” is known for leading a group of 5 ships on which Peter the Great made his campaign to Azov. In summer you can see the legendary ship from the board of the excursion motor ship. And in winter, when the ice is thick enough, you can easily walk to the “Mercury”. From year to year the monument to the frigate looks more and more original due to the fact that its base, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, is leaning towards the water.
