Cravan (Cardamom Mountains)
Kravan are mountains in western Cambodia and southeastern Thailand, stretching from northwest to southeast for about 350 kilometers along the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. The Cardamom Mountains are virtually uninhabited, with no roads through them. Densely covered with nearly impenetrable rainforest, these mountains cover 4.5 million hectares, most of southwestern Cambodia, and further into Thailand, where they are called the Soi Dao Mountains, after the highest western peak.
