Isle of Man

Isle of Man is a humpbacked island 50 km long and 16 wide, located in the Irish Sea between England and Ireland. The island has its own parliament, customs and special atmosphere. The best way to see the island is to walk 40 km along the Millennium Trail, from Ramsay to Castletown along the entire mountain range that runs across the island. The best views are from the summit of Snaefell (610 m), which can be reached by cable car.

Every year, the Isle of Man hosts the famous Tourist Trophy motorcycling competition and is a gathering place for leather-clad bikers from all over the world.
