Hotel Airplane
Hotel Airplane is a real Boeing 727 that is located in Costa Rica, near Manuel Antonio National Park, and no longer flies. The plane, manufactured in 1965, serves as the suite of the Costa Verde Hotel and attracts travelers who appreciate originality. The Boeing was formerly part of the South Africa Air fleet and the Colombian airline Avianca. In 1990, it was decommissioned from service and abandoned at San Jose International Airport for a long time. In late 2005, hotel owners became interested in it, transported it in pieces and converted it into a suite.
