Gizo Island
Gizo is a small island in the state of Solomon Islands and is part of the Western Province. The island was named after a notorious local bounty hunter. Gizo is about 25 kilometers southwest of the larger island of New Georgia, and about 20 kilometers west of Kolombangara Island.
