Dzhemete is a picturesque resort village on the Black Sea coast, located between Anapa and Vityazevo, 5 km northwest of the city center. Dzhemete has the status of a suburb of Anapa. It is permanently inhabited by about 1000 people, and during the summer tourist season at the expense of tourists the local population grows several times.

The coast from Anapa Bay to Bugazskaya Spit is considered the best place for beach vacation, as wide sandy beaches are spread out here. In 1828, a military fortification was built northwest of Anapa. The Dzhemeti garrison protected the city and was responsible for ensuring that incoming food and goods from Taman reached the Anapa fortress unhindered. The settlement performed military functions for more than half a century.

The main means of transportation in Anapa and its suburbs are shuttle buses and cabs. In Dzhemete they run along Pionersky Avenue. How to get there
Anapa airport is located north of Dzhemete, behind Vityazevo. The railway station of the resort town is even closer, just 1.5 km from the sea, next to Upper Dzhemete. Some tourists come to the coast by train, and some come by airplane. In any case, the way to the resort village by shuttle bus or bus takes only 5-10 minutes.
